The University recognizes the interconnected relationship between mental and physical health and the importance of prioritizing student wellness. 69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø strives to provide comprehensive wellness support for students.

The Wellness Centre team consists of a nurse, physician, counsellors, a social worker, and a sexualized violence consultant. Appointment required.

Wellness Centre is open during the academic year (Sept.-April).

*Please note that we are currently in the process of hiring for the nurse and 1 (of 2) counsellors.

Cold, Flu, and COVID-19

Fall and winter are prime seasons for respiratory viruses such as colds, flu, and COVID-19. Visit campus updates for the latest information on vaccinations, and what to do if you are feeling unwell.


How can we help?

Find the professional health and wellness support you need at the on-campus Wellness Centre or in the local community.

Primary health care

Access a variety of medical care services to address your health care needs, including a nurse and physician.

Counsellors and social workers

Access mental health services for your overall mental health and well-being, including counsellors and a social worker.

Accessibility services

Access support for students with disabilities and medical conditions, whether permanent or temporary.

69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø has partnerships with several external providers offering fee-for-service appointments at the Wellness Centre or virtually. Some fees may be covered by the . 
 

Virtual partners:

Psychologist: Michelle Tougas, PhD. (space reserved for MtA students)

Offering virtual therapy sessions for anxiety, OCD, stress, depression, eating disorders, sleep
difficulties and trauma. Treatment modalities include ACT, CBT, ERP, EMDR.
