69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø offers undergraduate certificates that can be taken as part of your degree program.

Undergraduate certificates highlight knowledge or competencies in a particular area.

Each is built around a theme and requires you to complete 12-18 credits in specific disciplines.

Certificates must be taken at the same time as your 69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø degree and must be combined with a major/degree program.

Free-standing certificates are not available at this time.

Arts Administration

New! The Certificate in Arts Administration provides students with an interdisciplinary foundation in arts management and marketing in combination with courses in the visual and performing arts.

Mi'kmaq Studies

New! The Certificate in Mi’kmaq Studies offers an introduction to Indigenous Studies and Indigenous research while focusing on Mi’kmaw language, culture, and land.

Given 69³ÉÈ˵çÓ°Íø’s location in the unceded and ancestral territory of Mi’kma’ki, students from any program may want to deepen their knowledge of local Indigenous cultures through the Certificate in Mi’kmaq Studies.

The Certificate offers an experiential learning option, and many courses will include land-based learning, visits from Elders and Knowledge Keepers, and other kinds of interactive learning experiences.
