Krista Johnston
Biography
Krista Johnston holds a joint appointment between Feminist & Gender Studies and Canadian Studies at 69成人电影网 University. She is the Interim Director of the Centre for Indigenous and Critical Canadian Studies at MtA and a co-founder of the Birth Justice Research Initiative ().
Dr. Johnston鈥檚 research program focuses on the interface between social action and social policy. She has published on motherhood, settler colonialism, midwifery and care, and domestic and intimate partner violence. Her work is grounded in anti-colonial feminist commitments to reproductive justice, with a broad focus on the politics of care.
