Award-winning lawyer Naiomi Metallic to speak at 69成人电影网, Feb. 1
Metallic鈥檚 talk part of the University鈥檚 Year of Indigenous Action
SACKVILLE, NB 鈥 69成人电影网 will welcome Naiomi Metallic, Chancellor's Chair in Aboriginal Law and Policy at Dalhousie University鈥檚 Schulich School of Law as the final speaker in the University鈥檚 President鈥檚 Speakers Series for the Year of Indigenous Action on campus.
Metallic鈥檚 talk will take place on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 7 p.m. in Brunton Auditorium (Marjorie Young Bell Music Conservatory). It is open to the public.

Naiomi Metallic is from the Listuguj Mi鈥檊maq First Nation in Quebec and is the Chancellor鈥檚 Chair in Aboriginal Law and Policy at Dalhousie University. As a legal scholar, she writes about how the law can be harnessed to promote the well-being of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
A senior associate with Burchells LLP, Metallic鈥檚 teaching and research interests include constitutional law, aboriginal, public, administrative, civil procedure, evidence, and labour and employment. She was named to the 2016 Best Lawyer in Canada list in the area of Indigenous law and has appeared before the courts of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and the Federal courts in a number of high profile cases involving First Nations clients.
